With his support, I have gained confidence and I look forward to every lesson. I highly recommend
Alexander to anyone starting their saxophone journey.” – Zena H.

“I have only had one lesson with him and he was able to take the best out of me and give me his
best guidance possible. I would recommend anybody willing to become a professional musician to
study with him.” – Jonatan

Instruction is available for saxophone, clarinet, flute, piano, upright bass and jazz improvisation in person or online using Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp or Google Meets.

Session rate is £50 per lesson. All ages and abilities welcome. Weekly lesson packages available for young-learners and children. Ask about 30 and 45-minute rates.

Sessions are focused to identifying areas of weakness which can be improved. You play any song for me, I listen carefully and comment objectively.

After listening to you play, I’ll create a succinct practice plan with exercises and suggestions to help you improve.

My methodology is to provide a cohesive narrative to understanding music and your instrument. In our sessions, I clarify how to physically play your instrument, teach in a simple and concise manner how to construct good sounding melody/bass lines from chord progressions, explain how to get a smooth sound and discuss how to listen; what to listen for; and who to listen to. All of which will improve your playing and make music enjoyable, fun, and rewarding for you.

I am also available for clinics, masterclasses, and guest performances. Occasionally, I offer large-group sessions in Stratford. Kindly message, if interested.
